If your strong enough, you might want to try an old mechanic's trick to 
check for cracks.  Grab the crank by the pulley end and lift it up off 
the floor.  With a steel hammer, give one of the counterweights a good 
rap.  If it rings like a bell, it's a good one.  If it does not, your 
probably going to be disappointed with the magnaflux report.
