My experience is with the earlier sixes but the info should still be
valid.
I went with the Kastner A-6 grind available from Delta. The A-6 has
255` duration @ .050 with .275 lobe lift. Advertised is 306`. Idle is
smooth as silk. You feel the performance when the cam kicks in at 3000
rpm, stock was much more subdued. I rebuild the engine to match the
profile that I used. I would go with a rally profile over stock 100% of
the time. JMHO

Subject: Street use Cams

I requested info last week about lightened flywheels and mild cams for
my BJ8.

I received some valuable responses, but would like to have more
feedback:
For those of you who have used non-stock grind cams for street use, what

kind of results have you had?

What kind of specs does your cam have? and most importantly, how does
the car operate (in your subjective view)...is the idle smooth, loping,
rough, etc. and what kind of street performance changes did you notice?

I'm trying to get the picture in order to make a good decision, since I
hope to only get one cam and have it meet my needs.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Robert
