Re Multimeters

I still like an analog meter. I like to see the needle move through its arc to 
(hopefully) where I expect it to reach. The trouble with the digitals is that 
you just suddenly get a load of numbers, right or wrong.
 
BTW my main multimeter is an EICO, which I built from a kit in 1964. Never had 
any need to replace it.
 
Call me old fashioned...............??!!

My opinion of cheap multimeters is that about the only thing they are 
good
for is throwing away.
