Mike -

Over the last 30 years there have been all sorts of front disc brake
conversion kits made for the BN1s and BN2s.

The most likely culprits are Early 3000 brakes and BJ8 brakes... these
two are the most likely because they are more or less straight bolt up
conversions.

I believe other conversions using Volvo discs were available in the
past, as well as discs for all sorts of crazy stuff.... too much
trouble to see if any of this is where it's at.

My bet is you have 3000 brakes of some kind on your BN2. Easiest way
to tell is to pull out one of the brake pads... if the pads have two
fixing holes in them... they are BJ8 front disks... if the pads don't
have two holes drilled in them, they are BT7/BN7 brakes.

I highly doubt your car would have 100S Dunlop brakes on them - too
rare & too expensive.

Alan
