Front fender beading

Listeners,
  Regarding the plastic beading on the front fenders below the 
headlamps:
  Is the plastic material abruptly cut-off at the headlamps and turn 
signal lamps, or is it "tucked under" the boot of the turn lamp and 
bezel of the headlamp?
