IF it starts right up by depressing the solenoid manually, and doesn't
die randomly after it's warmed up, then you need look no further than
the circuit that includes the starter button and the coil of the starter
solenoid.  Don't worry about the other things you mentioned (unless they
implicate themselves in some other way).
