Generator check

Just went through the same experience with my BN4.
Had the regulator and generator gone through by a very reputable co., 
cheked it in the car with the digital teste, and got higher readings. 
Went back to the shop had it tested again and saw the readings which 
were correct.
I got out my old analog multimeter and checked the output and it was 
right on.
