Hot engine air enters my BN1 cockpit through the gearshift hole in the
transmission cover. It gets mighty uncomfortable in warm weather. What is
the best way to seal this opening? The rubber boot and rug do not seal very
well. Other air leaks from the engine compartment are pretty well taken care
of, but this one remains a problem.
I sent out a previous enquiry to the List, but only received one response.
Certainly others have solutions to this air leak problem. Your help would be
greatly appreciated.
