I assume he was describing parts that are universal to any car, such as shocks, 
steering gear boxes, wheels, etc.  
not engines, transmissions, etc. that have a separate serial number associated 
with the vehicle they were first installed into at the factory.  If you replace 
your original shocks with rebuilt shocks, is your car no longer "original" or 
was this a Friday Funnies question I fell for?
