I have been shopping around looking for the original tri-metal bearings that
were fitted to out Healeys. Preferably I would like to use the original
Vandervell bearings, but I would be satisfied with AE, as long as they are the
tri-metal type.
I have tried the usual sources for A-H parts (Moss, A-H Spares, Cape
International, British Car Specialists, etc.) but with little luck. I will
cave in and use the King Bearings sold through County if need be, but if there
is a set of Vandervells lurking on shelf somewhere, I would like to find
them.
I am looking for +0.010" over mains and rods.
