I am the event announcer guy for my local club, since no one has pointed it
out I will share it with the Healey list also, not sure think the "drive your
british car week" goes beyond USA in scope, not sure if it works in Britain
though(??) Kind of like Chinese food in China, where is would just be food.
I don't know if this is necessary to add, but any reference to driver's of
other marques is meant purely in good fun and please don't take offense
"May 27-June 4 is Drive Your British Car Week, so get out those roadsters,
coupes and sedans and don't forget to smile and wave when you see your fellow
Brit Car enthusiasts out and about, it is even OK to smile and wave at Miata
owners, but never Porsche or Corvette guys, when we see them we must do our
best to look as though we are having a sublime experience they will never
understand or hope to equal :-)
