Richard,

It seems that at least some of the BJ7's didn't have this part as mine 
was missing also. Keith Turk kindly took measurements and provided the 
following info:

Sheet metal is 5/8" wide, 8" long, .165" thick

L shaped bend at one end. The bend measures 3/4" on the outside and a 
tick less than  5/8" on the inside of the L.

Two holes in the long end. First hole is 3.25" from inside of L and the 
second is 3.0" aft of that.

The bracket fits just below the window regulator and the small end of 
the L stops the half gear at the end of it's arch.

Set the window altitude, clamp the bracket to the frame with the short 
end facing the outside, setting it so the short end is touching
the half gear and then marking holes to drill in the door frame.

I can take some pictures of the part installed on a BJ8 if you need.
