I have just bought a Clickadjust tappet thingie on eBay. It seems like a
useful piece of kit though I wonder if it will prove to be indispensable.
Anyhow, Im a sucker for useful gadgets and it was cheap enough so.
Per the instructions, to use CLIKADJUST the user needs to identify the type
of thread used on the tappet adjusting screw. To do this, one screw (Ball
Pin) should be removed, and the pitch of the thread measured (see figure
below), or the number of threads-per-inch (T.P.I.) measured. The charts
can then be used directly. Anybody been there and done that and got the
info?

Just now, at a little local classic car show, I bought a Gunsons
Autoranger. Its a decent enough tool.does dwell, rpm etcetc, but isnt the
most high tech thing Ive ever seen. However, it only cost me #4.00, so I
cant go far wrong. (Reality check for all you non sterling guys.#4.00 will
get you about 1.75 pints of drinkable beer!). Now, the guy said it works and
it probably will, but the instructions are all glued together. Steaming them
apart wasnt much use. Is there a kind soul out there who could help? I
suppose emailing me jpg files would be the obvious thing??? Anyone out there
got one? Its the all black unit, broader at one end than the other, three
leads one of which is blue and smaller than the + and ones?

Yours,
