Since no one else has responded I'll take a crack at it.

I don't believe that the 6 cylinder has any timing marks on the flywheel, 
but maybe I'm just ignorant about that. If the former is true then the only 
real consideration for positioning the flywheel would be if the engine has 
been statically and dynamically balanced in which case the machinist would 
have placed marks on the flywheel, the crankshaft and the clutch pressure 
plate to assure they are aligned in the balanced position. If that's not the 
case you can put the flywheel on in any position.
