i have just started using my new hvlp gun. it uses 50 psi but apparently taps off 10 psi to pressurize the cannister as it will not work as a syphon type. if you lower the pressure from the compressor, apparently the pressure is reduced inside the cannister and the pattern is faulty. mine is a basic harbor freight special with the pressure reducer in the handle and it works great with very little overspray. cost about 40 bucks if i remember right. healeymanjim |
