The furphy is that Velcro was invented by NASA. Just not so.
It was first used by Australian Aborigines 35,000 years so that when
they walked across the land they wouldn't fall down towards the sky.
Kangaroos have it too but it activates very quickly and releases just as
quickly allowing them to bound across the land.
Being like this also makes the blood flow to our brains, making us far
smarter. After all why do you think we live in a place that's far from
all the world's trouble spots?

On the subject of down under, isn't it really dependant on your
prospective? Given that the first maps were drawn in Europe they put
their towns and countries on top. What would have happened if someone in
New Zealand drew the first map - then who would be down under?
What law says the North Pole is really up?
