FYI-A few days ago a BJ8 was offered for sale on Ebay.
It had no bids at the time I first saw it. It had a
buy it now price of $5500 including shipping. The
"buy it now" price was in the description field and
not in the usual bidding fields. It said to email the
buyer to make sure you are pre qualified to bid. The
next morning I logged on to Ebay to find "This listing
(120050848785) has been removed or is no longer
available". Later I received an Email from the
seller that said we may have a deal and that payment
would be secure through Ebay and Ebay would contact
me. The next Email appeared to be from Ebay with logo
and official header. It claimed to be a secure and
guaranteed finial agreement through Ebay.
Ebay will always send a copy of an Email to your Ebay
inbox: this document was not copied to my inbox
because it was phony.
If it is too good to be true then buyer beware.
