Upon further review of John Sim's website and of my car, I have to revise my
rotor and cap useage as follows. My apologies for the previous erroneous
information.
1. Which rotor are you using that failed?? NO FAILURE SO FAR--USING LUCAS
(UNIPART GRA 102). HAVE ALSO USED "ECHLIN TYPE" REMOVE TO OIL, BUT WITHOUT
THE 6-DIGIT NUMBER ON IT.
2. What are you using for a coil? ORIGINAL LUCAS FOR YEARS, NOW LUCAS SPORT
3. What distributor cap brand? BROVEX (SILVER CONTACTS)
4. What plug wires
COPPER CORE
5. What style ignition
Electronic_ALLISON (FOR 20+ YEARS, 30K MILES)
Plug gap is .025".
