poor brake pedal

Thank you to everyone for their advice.

I will try applying the handbrake and slackening off front cylinders next
time.

If that's not successful, I think a master cylinder rebuild is on the cards.

Did anyone ever try applying some plumbers tape around the bleed screw
threads, to prevent air intake when the screw is slackened for bleeding?
