SJ08 give-away car at Carlisle this Saturday
The Sprite Jubilee Give-Away 68 Midget will be at the Carlisle Import Show.
RAIN & SHINE You-all can see it in its unfinished natural beauty. Thats
this Saturday May 19, 2007.
Our SJ08 Meeting will start in the center of the grandstand at 1:00 pm. It
will proceed to the Give-Away car located on the Show Field at the
Austin-Healey Sports & Touring tent.
Look for the SPRITE four pole canopy with a white plastic top. With luck
there will be an Austin-Healey Sprite banner and some British flags a-wavin
at the SPRITE canopy.
Checked out the grandstand availability for 1:00 pm. We have until 2:00
when a jazz band cranks it up on center stage. We should be done in about
20 to 30 minutes. Also checked out if we could advertise our give-away car
on the Show Field with Carlisle and AHSTC. Everyone told me there should be
no problem.
Bring your umbrella, rain coat & hat as it calls for intermittent sprinkles
and over cast skies.
