I am finishing a restoration of an AH3000 BT7. When I got the car it
had no soft top and I am trying to figure out how to install one and
have some questions:
Is the wooden cross bow covered with vinyl?
I assume the aluminum finishing strip attaches to the crossbow and then
the rubber sealing strip glues to the aluminum finishing stripe. Is
this correct?
Does the front of the top fold over the front of the crossbow and under
the aluminum finishing piece? I assume the top is glued as well as
stapled to the crossbow. Is this correct?
Does the webbing attach to the two front metal bows or just the rear one?
Is there a hidem stripe across the front of the top?
If someone has a few pictures of the top including the latch setup and
would send them to me, I would be very appreciative.
