Mel,

Great victory over those collars. When you speak of rivets, the only rivets
that you may have to remove if you are thinking of having a chrome job done
are the ones that secure the locking plate for the vent window lock on the
straight chrome window channel. I found rivets at British Car Specialist and
then located an aircraft mechanic that came over with his equipment and more
rivets, put all my rivets in, and everything looks great. Some chrome shops
will chrome it with everything together and some won't. Do yourself a favor
and find one that will chrome with everything together on your windshield side
pillars, you will be more satisfied and less stressed when reassembly time
comes.

Take care,

George Haywood
