Its fine to go with steel, but why will Jorge's last 50 years when my
stock one flaked enough rust to give carburettor trouble 15 years from
new? A common practice for all old tanks was to have "tern" coated
steel. Is that what Jorge uses?

Still, the best comment I got was "either will last another 50 years or
more.. the steel will survive a rear end collision better than the
aluminum.
