Hello all,
Once I waded through all the inevitable comments about balls, (some were
hilarious) and sifted out some good answers from some learned people, I have
come to the conclusion that this mysterious steel ball is not part of this
engine.
Thanks to all for their answers, opinions, comments, and humour.
