Hi Charlie-

I'm located in central NJ. There are no platers in my area, so I'll probably
have to ship the parts to get them plated. If you please, I'd appreciate the
names of the two shops that you have had success with.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

B B B I don't know where you are located (missed it if said earlier); I'm
just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
B
B B B There are two chrome shops in the area that do outstanding work,
neither are inexpensive and both do 'repairs' to the piece if required before
chroming.
B
B B B I found these places by talking to folks in the antique bike community
(inside contact, my brother). They seem to be a bit more discriminating (my
opinion) than some in the 'car' community.
B
B B B I also found a shop that does powder coating through the same folks.
It's a 'job shop' doing large industrial orders but the owner is a car/bike
type and has nice prices for us.
B
B B B This may not be much help, but it's all I've got. Talk to the 'bikers'
in your area and see what they recommend.
B
B B B Good luck,
B
