Coil Terminals

Perhaps this point/question is being missed, so I'll blurt it out as I tend
to do...
 One can hook up the terminals either way and the car will run fine.
Backwards will cause a slight voltage drop to the high tension (spark plugs)
and look weird on a scope, but it won't "fry" anything if backwards, if that
is what is of concern. 
 All previous posts have been spot on.
