I've had this happen to me. It's covered in the manual if you can find the
relevant section.....
It seems that air can be sucked back into the system when you raise the
pedal for the next pump. Get your other half to tighten down on the bleed
nipple while the pedal is still descending or, at least, when it is fully
down.
Worked for me.
I've thought of putting some plumbers' PTFE tape on the threads to stop this
happening but haven't tried. Have to experiment first to see if it would
dissolve in the fluid?
