shows the method that I use to raise my car onto four jack stands.

I agree but use a floor jack and get the front up just high enough  to
get the jacks under the frame or suspension, then do the same at the
rear.  If you need it higher, repeat the process.  If you raise the
front too high you can't get the jack under the rear.
