I went with someone's suggestion on the list to use the Black/white wire 
(screwed me up from the day I
purchased my car)  as the third brake light power source.  Just move it to 
the signal box from the coil.
And of course repair the area under the car where it has shorted to a wire 
clip or to the chassis.  : (

A simple Green Knob On Off switch on the negative battery post works fine 
for me for anti theft, and lock
the trunk.
