I've had one of these things sitting around - destined for my as yet
uncompleted BJ8. Don't see why it won't work - I figured I'd simply throw
it up under the dash somewhere - it needs to be 3/4" away from steel on one
side, according to the instructions. Not expensive, and worth a try.

i've been thinking about doing the same thing and had been considering using
one of the short black composite antennas under the passenger outer sill.
