[Healeys] delayed turn signals

In a somewhat related issue, the turn light indicators on the dash of my BJ8
illuminate 3 or 4 times when I flip the signal indicator on the steering wheel
hub, then stop, but the outside indicators on the fenders continue to work.
What's that about?
