The rear shoes are close to being completely covered with friction material
but only on the section of shoe that is 2.25 inches wide. The 2.25 inch metal
shoe surface is 10.875 inches long. The friction material is 10.5 inches long.
There is 0.125 inch gap on the brake adjuster end of the shoe and 0.25 inch
gap on the wheel cylinder end.  Both shoes per rear wheel are the same.
Checked a bunch of the shoes, both riveted and bonded. All basically the same.
