Ok.... This I do not understand...Why is everyone suddenly hot on "bucket
lifters"?
They may result in a slight decrease in the reciprocating weight of the
valve gear but as valve bounce is not a problem in Healey engines, good cams
properly lubricated last a very long time and lifter bores hardly ever wear
out...why reinvent the wheel and needlessly spend money. Lighter cam
followers will not produce any more  power.
If you really want more power spent the money on having someone with a flow
bench and dyno modify the head and  tune the car on a dyno>>>
