A couple of years ago Corvette was the featured marque at the
Ironstone Concourse. There was a early 50s corvette there that had an
original Clear Perspex removable top. The owner said that there was
only about 5 that remained in the world and that GM dropped the idea
after a very short time. Turns out the clear top would turn the
inside of the car into a little a sauna and just cook anyone inside
the car.
