Gee's .......... 40 posts I am blown away It appears that many variations of
series / parallel setups
will work reliably. Most posts show either 2 x SU or 2 x Facet ( or similar
) working in harmony
My proposal was to run a new electronic SU ( should be set & forget ) but
I have a long memory re.
SU pumps & want to fit a backup ....Simple buy another SU ......BUT with a
Facet @ $40 & an SU
@ $ $A308 guess which way I will go . Which brings me to a problem. : -
When I ran the drivetrain
out of the car I set up the Fedtro only which required a regulator to cut
back pressure.
                                                    .......SO.........
>From the combined wisdom of the list I propose to run the SU & Fedtro pumps
in parrallel with a
changeover / centre off switch & use a period correct Malpassi filter /
regulator to tame the Fedtro

My only concern is the back pressure from the Fedtro being detrimental to
the SU (Boyles Law)
A control over this senerio recomended by Kees is to fit a changeover valve
as used on a LP / petrol
car I am still considering this.

MY THANKS TO EVERYBODY FOR THEIR INPUT
