Thanks to all those who gave their input re my search for the elusive spare
tire hold down strap assembly. I found Peter Svilans' detailed description
very interesting...good info that will go into the archives to help other
"Healeyites". Jean Caron of Vintage Roadster Restoration in Winnipeg has
come to my rescue and will be making the strap assembly for me. The strap
assembly will be as the original at a very fair price...I highly recommend
Jean's services.
