I should put a caveat to that - for side shifter gearboxes, you should
definitely permatex the gaskets.  Those paper gaskets are quite thin and
prone to leaking.  I would not, however, do it on the diff pumpkin.
 Again... it will only leak if the pumpkin is coming loose.
