Give me a call, I have a working knowledge of Jag/moss boxes from
several rebuilds on XK's and now 4 morgans.
I have some bits floating around as well, and can forward you some
rather definitive writeup s on what parts are interchangeable between
the Moss Boxes and Moss/Jag boxes. I also believe that I have the
bearing and seal numbers floating around somewhere so you can pick them
up locally.

We often, in our travels, run across other enthusiasts with other make
stuff. There exists a dearth of transmission parts for older Jaguar
transmission parts. Only 1 or 2 distributers list much more than gaskets
and bearings..
The question is.. is there anyone out there with a serviceable 4 spd
gear box for an E-type (either version) or good used parts they would
like to sell? I haven't taken this apart yet, but I suspect it needs a
1st gear slider or even a main shaft.
