A difference of about 300degr C what I usually use is ample, 200degr C 
will probably do as well. However prefer to have some time for 
adjustment if needed. When all is clean and the ring is dropped square 
on the flywheel it should just drop down in its proper place. It also 
varies from car (make) to car (make).
