Apparently this was Fred Cohen's car:
"The 100S presented here, AHS 3707, was among a select group that was
originally delivered to the West Coast of the US, a hotbed of sports car
racing during the 1950s. Finished in the classic white over Lobelia Blue
livery, this factory-built racer was originally shipped on April 21, 1955,
to Gough Industries in Los Angeles. According to various sources, Gough
Industries ordered seven 100S models in total, with six delivered in
sequence, 3707=E2=80=933801, to be sold to ambitious local drivers.
After nearly a decade on the East Coast, 3707 returned to Los Angeles where
it found a new owner in Fred Cohen. In 1982, Mr. Cohen enlisted Global
Healey to perform a complete restoration, however the project soon turned
over to Hill & Vaughn in Santa Monica. After a brief period with Robert
Pass of St. Louis in the late 1980s, the 100S was sold to Mark Smith, the
famed East Coast collector. After 12 years in his care, the 100S was
reluctantly sold and has since been a fixture in two prominent collections
in the Northeast, where it has continued to benefit from appreciative and
attentive caretakers."

If it's the same "Global Healey" it were out of Billings, NY and in the
early '80s was "remanufacturing" BJ8s to a very high standard and selling
them at what we all though were outrageous prices (IIRC $50k).Their

The owner, Glen Kurrus, later ran Paradise Garage outside of Lime Rock
until he had some legal trouble But that's a whole other story:
