I would use a baster to suck as much fluid out of the reservoir. Be
careful, brake fluid can eat your paint. Then open up all four brake bleed
screws. Good time to flush your system. Yes bench bleed MC.
Keep track of any shims between Mc and firewall.
Keep everything clean and use latex  gloves.  Check to be sure pushrod pin
loop is not elongated, as the wear out.
Be sure to open up slave cyl. Too to remove old fluid from clutch
