I have #793's body shell all ready to send for final paint.
I had assumed that the frame and inner body of this car should be painted b=
ody colour but have just been in contact with=20
the owner of body # 789 who indicates that the f & ib of his car are and w=
ere painted satin black as was the case on the car I have just finished.

Based upon the information that I had until now, and the former owner of Al=
an's car commenting that he thought he'd noted white paint under the gearbo=
x mounts, I had deduced that painting everything Coronet Cream would be cor=
rect.
Now I'm fairly convinced that #793 should also have a black frame and inner=
body...
Are there any other owners of early BN1s around body #790 who can advise wh=
at colour the f & ib of their car was originally.
