Hello Lin

=20

Some years back I repaired a Healey badge with fibreglass resin mixed =
with red pigment (the stuff used in paint shops to mix with basic =
colours) and the result was perfect.

=20

Took a little time till I was happy with the colour.

=20

Some Healey badges have the same cloisonn=C3=A9 as those from =
Austin-Healeys.

I should have added that cloisonn=C3=A9 badges that I have seen which =
required repair seemed to be cracked, often with small pieces of the =
material missing, while on my badge the color seems to have just =
=E2=80=9Cpeeled=E2=80=9D off.

Bad news Lin, the red in the badges is not paint, it is cloisonn=C3=A9.
Thats a type of glass and paint just doesn't look the same.

=20

There are places where you can get it redone.
