I bought mine from Zims Autotechnik (www.allzim.com =
<http://www.allzim.com> , 800-356-2964; he=E2=80=99s a Porsche guy), =
part # ZIM.201.000.XX.  Just had to replace it last July when I had to =
replace the wiring harness due to a meltdown (long story).  Cost $21 =
plus shipping from Texas.  I had my first one installed for years with =
no problems whatsoever.  I=E2=80=99ve found they work very well.

I have read about this idea many times and never heard of anyone having =
their tank explode as a result ... probably because they didn't =
survive!!!

Such a modification is really not necessary as the following solution =
works perfectly.
