I used arp stainless high tensile 170,000 psi bolts, with an undersized hex h=
ead, so there is no issue getting a socket on them. I also made up a thicker=
 tapered washer so I could apply as much clamping force to the shock, spread=
 over as big an area as possible.=20
And the back is a drilled piece of mild steel with 2 nuts welded on.=20
Once the nuts are captive, all the effort can be applied to torquing the bol=
ts up.=20
