I find this interesting, as I, too, have one of each. It bothers the =
OCD part of me, but I=E2=80=99ve been able to live with it for the 19 =
years I=E2=80=99ve had the car. I guess I can continue to live with it.

Hi, Here are a couple of pics. I=E2=80=99m after the two shouldered =
version. Sadly, there are no (visible) numbers stamped on or within it =
and the detachable tabs above the three float chambers rather =
confusingly have the same numbers.

I have three HD6s in my car. When I bought them from a place that =
renovated Jag Mk IIs I didn=E2=80=99t notice that 2 of the carbs have 2 =
shoulders on top of the dashpot whilst the third has only one.

They work perfectly well in concert and I have no worries about =
function. However, it=E2=80=99s begun to irritate me and I=E2=80=99ve =
been looking for one on eBay.

So, tell me=E2=80=A6..which is the most common version=E2=80=A6.two =
shoulders or one?=20

Thanks,

Simon
