Hi Michael,
The threads in the block are BSF. I can't remember if they are 3/8" or 7/16
but can check for sure whan I get back from Deadwood on Monday.
BTW if you are intending to assemble the engine on a stand might I suggest
considering mounting onto the side of the block ... it makes assembly much
easier.
