Be careful here! There are two check ball valves and springs in the=0AOD=
. The upper operating valve ball is different than the pump valve.=0ABob=
is correct on one size-but one is 5/16" but the other is 1/4"...if=0Ayo=
u reverse them you won't get overdrive pressure. I have the part=0Anumbe=
rs for each from the parts book, but that does not indicate the=0Asizes.=
=0AFrom the problem my friend had with no pressure at the pump valve, I'=
m=0Athinking the 1/4" belongs there and the 5/16" is in the upper=0Aoper=
ating valve. He replaced the ball with the correct size and=0Apressure r=
eturned. I just assembled an overdrive for a 100, but don't=0Aremember w=
hich is which-I did remember not to mix them up. Check the=0Abore size t=
o be sure if you do mix them while assembling. I'll recheck=0Athe Sept.=
1954 parts book to see if a size is mentioned for each. Hank=0A=0A=09--=
