If that Daimler V8 is the one I think it is, it was designed by Edward Turner, long-time Managing Director of the Triumph Motorcycle Co. in England, for a car engine. It was noted that the cylinder head design, ports and valves, etc., was a copy of the 500cc(I think) Triumph twin hemi setup, but water-cooled, of course. ArdunBill |
