Low tech doesn't necessarily mean low dollar in the
long run.

now theres a TRUE statement - i learned that the hard way too, many, many
times.  by the way i think were throwing away about 80 hp in our th-400
setup - so much that were running the trans fluid through an ice bath heat
exchanger .   manual trans are more efficient if you can use one. - doug @
